How is ProX different from a regular CV builder?
A CV builder just makes documents. ProX is a living professional profile — you build your career information once, and your CVs, public profile, and job matches are generated from it. Update the profile, and everything built from it stays current.
I've never had a job. Can I still build a profile?
Yes — a profile doesn't require paid work experience. Education, skills, languages, and projects are enough to get started, and you can add work experience later as your career develops.
How does a share link actually control what people see?
Every link you create is independent. You choose exactly which sections it shows, and you can revoke it at any time — revoking one link never affects any other link you've shared.
Can employers find me if I don't want them to?
No. Your profile stays private by default and is only discoverable — on Talent or anywhere else — once you choose to publish it.
What counts as portfolio content if I haven't worked yet?
Anything that proves you can do something: a coursework project, a personal build, volunteer work, a side project. It doesn't have to come from a job — it just needs to prove something.
Does the AI ever add experience or skills I didn't have?
No. AI only reorganizes, rewrites, or highlights information already in your profile — it never invents experience, employers, or qualifications.
Is ProX free?
Yes, ProX is free to use right now.
How is my data protected?
Your profile is private by default, share links are revocable at any time, and you can export or delete your data at any time from Settings.
For recruiters
Do I need an account to contact a candidate?
No. If a candidate has made their email public, you can write to them directly from their Talent profile. Otherwise you can send them a message through ProX with just your name, email address and a short message.
What happens after I send a message through ProX?
We email you a link to confirm your address, valid for 48 hours. Once you confirm, your message is delivered to the candidate, who can reply to you.
Is there a limit on how many messages I can send?
Yes, to keep candidates' inboxes useful for everyone. Limits apply per day and per week, and they are higher for senders using a company email address and higher still for organisations ProX has reviewed. A single candidate also receives only a limited number of messages per day, and you can't message the same person again while an earlier message is still open, or for a while after they have replied or declined. If you hit a limit, try again later or tell us what you need.
Can I get a candidate's CV as a PDF?
Candidates can create a CV from their ProX profile and save it as a PDF. If you'd like one for your own process, just ask the candidate in your message.
How should I handle the details a candidate shares with me?
Use them only to get in touch about job opportunities, and handle them as personal data under the data protection rules that apply to you (such as the GDPR), like any other candidate details. If you're unsure, ask us through the contact page.
