Terms of Service

ProX is currently operated by Ethan as an individually-run project based in Finland (contact: contact@proxjob.com). By creating an account or using ProX, you agree to these Terms.

ProX helps you build one professional profile and generate CVs, job matches, and career tools from it. ProX is currently free to use; if we introduce paid features, we will announce them in advance and they will not change what you already have without your agreement. ProX is under active development. Features may change, and we may add, modify, or remove functionality as the product evolves. We'll do our best to avoid disruption, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability at this stage.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account; ProX is intended for adults, and we may close an account if we learn that its owner is under 18. You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. Let us know if you suspect unauthorized access.

You own the content you add to ProX (your profile, CVs, portfolio, and so on). By using the service, you grant ProX the license needed to store, process, and display that content as part of providing the service to you — including generating CVs and, if you choose to publish it, showing it on your Public Profile or Talent listing. You confirm that you have the right to add this content and that what you say about your own experience and qualifications is true. We don't edit your profile to add experience or qualifications you did not enter.

Job Market shows job listings aggregated from third-party sources (such as EURES and Jooble). We don't control these listings and can't guarantee their accuracy, availability, or that the employer is legitimate — always verify details independently before applying or sharing sensitive information.

Talent listings are published only when you explicitly choose to make your profile visible there; you can unpublish at any time from Settings.

Share links: a share link shows the selected parts of your profile to anyone who has the link (and the password, if you set one). You decide who gets a link and can revoke it at any time. Once someone has seen the content, we cannot take back what they saw or copied.

Messages, endorsements and review comments: you may use ProX to contact people only for genuine professional reasons. Don't send spam, bulk or unsolicited marketing, harassment, or misleading messages, and don't write false or defamatory endorsements or comments. We apply limits to how many messages can be sent and may block senders who abuse the service.

ProX's AI Assistant, job-match analysis, and cover-letter/CV suggestions are generated based on the information in your profile. They are suggestions, not guarantees — review anything AI-generated before relying on it, and use your own judgment, especially for anything sent to an employer. To keep the service available to everyone, we apply fair-use limits to AI features and may change them. Your profile content is sent to Google to produce AI results, as described in the Privacy Notice.

You agree not to: misrepresent your identity or qualifications; scrape or bulk-collect data from ProX; interfere with the service's normal operation; or use ProX for any unlawful purpose; upload malicious files or content that infringes others' rights; or try to access other people's accounts, private links or data.

ProX is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, particularly given the product's current early stage of development. We don't warrant that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that job matches or AI outputs will be accurate.

To the extent permitted by law, ProX (and its operator) is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. This doesn't limit any liability that cannot be limited under Finnish or EU law, or any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.

You may stop using ProX and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, and we may remove content that is unlawful or breaks these Terms. If you think content on ProX infringes your rights or is unlawful, contact us at the address below.

We may update these Terms as the product and its legal status (for example, formal business registration) develop. We'll update the date above whenever we do.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. This does not take away mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
